Governor Parnell Issues Veterans Day Message

Statement

Governor Sean Parnell today issued the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:

"We forever want to honor our military veterans, and this Veterans Day we lift them up even higher. We thank you, veterans and your families, for your service to our nation. We acknowledge this day, and every one hereafter, the sacrifices you have made, and continue to make, on our behalf.

"We are especially proud of the way you stood and served in our place for the cause of freedom. You are true patriots who have always understood that freedom isn't free, and courageous men and women like you must defend it at great cost.

"Thank you, veterans, for being our defenders of liberty. May God bless you and our great nation."
